Quinsippi Needleworkers
Quinsippi Needleworkers is a Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. They meet the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at First Union Congregational Church.
Their purpose is to foster high standards of design, color and workmanship in embroidery, to teach the embroidery arts and to preserve our national needle arts heritage. Membership is open to all embroiderers: professional, beginner or advanced.
They host the "Stitches in Time" Quilt and Needlework Show every other year in the spring. The Chapter Members make Emergency Room Bears and Wee Care gowns for Blessing Hospital. They also make and distribute bookmarks to school children through the Reading Is Fundamental program.
