Quincy Civic Music Association
The Quincy Civic Music Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit civic organization that has been producing since 1927 seasons of musical and dance concerts by professional performers and companies. We put all of our ticket proceeds—and all of the considerable grant and gift money our non-profit status makes possible—into these concerts. Despite our modest ticket prices, we have brought world-class performers to Quincy such as The Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Kronos Quartet, and, in recent years, the National Dance Company of Siberia in 2003 (ask anyone who saw them), the Vienna Choir Boys in November of 2005, and River North Chicago Dance Company and The Dallas Brass, last season. We want to make it as advantageous as possible to purchase season tickets. The season ticket price is set so that even if you have to miss a concert or two, they are still cheaper than single admission tickets (see Season Memberships below). In addition, season ticket holders get a free concert and half-price admission to the others, from each of our reciprocity partners, the Hannibal Concert Association and the Keokuk Concert Association.
