Great River Watercolor Society
The Great River Watercolor Society was founded to "perpetuate the practice of, and appreciation for, the fine art of water-based painting." The organization also works to increase artist’s skills through visiting artist workshops, lectures, critiques, demonstrations, and annual exhibitions. It is a support group for both the amateur and professional solitary artist. The group meets at the Art Center at 1515 Jersey. For more information about the Great River Watercolor Society call president Sue Rummenie Winking at 228-5267.
