Great River Jazz Society
The Great River Jazz Preservation Society is dedicated to the sponsorship and public education of jazz music in many forms. The Great River Jazz Society is an 18-year-old organization which offers concerts and dances which are open to the public. Concerts are held monthly, September through May, and bands and orchestras are brought from all parts of the U.S. Their musical concentrations range from early forms of jazz, such as Ragtime Bands, Dixieland Bands, traditional 20's Jazz Bands through 40-50's Swing and Dance Bands. Dance floors are available at all concerts. Food, cash bar, and cabaret seating available.
