Golden Historical Society
The Golden Historical Society was created to save the old German smock windmill that was originally built in 1872 in Golden, IL. Restoration has been completed after 15 years of hard work. In addition, the society operates an artifacts museum, large gift shop, a rental hall, and catering for banquets. The hall will accommodate up to 300 seated guests.
