About Us
The Quincy Society of Fine Arts, America's 1st Community Arts Council, was founded in 1947. QSFA works to foster, strengthen and expand the language, visual and performing arts in Adams County, Illinois.
QSFA's national award-winning programs: (1) work to expand our economy, (2) strengthen education, and (3) insure cost-effective arts services for everyone. QSFA sponsors the Arts/Quincy FunLine. The FunLine gives weekly highlights of arts events, information on QSFA's 62 member organizations, and Dial-A-Writer. To access the FunLine call 217-228-2787.
QSFA also publishes an annual Arts=Education Resource Guide. The guide lists: 1) information on grants for arts projects, 2) QSFA member organization arts services, 3)local individual artist roster, 4) area individual artist roster, and 5) additional local and area arts resources.
